HOW THEY MET
We first met in a geography class in college. I adored Drew. I began the semester sitting in the front of the classroom but slowly moved closer to him as each class passed. At the end of the semester, we lost touch and Drew transferred 450 miles away to coastal Carolina university. Fast forward 3 years later, we reconnected on a dating app while Drew was visiting home during winter break. Needless to say, I swiped right, and the rest is history! We have been together for five and a half years. We recently got married on 9.12.2020 ? We had a private ceremony in our hometown, and it was more beautiful than we could’ve dreamt! As a couple, we’ve had many accomplishments together: becoming dog parents to the best dogs, Callie and Rusty, graduating college, beginning our careers (I’m a pre-k teacher with hopes, and he is a financial coordinator at the University of Maryland), and buying our first home. Our love story continues to grow!
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
There wasn’t just a single moment where I knew I wanted to marry drew AND spend my forever with him. Collectively, it was all the little moments between that made me realize he was the one I wanted to call ‘mine’ forever. One of the most significant and memorable moments was when my parents told me that they thought Drew was perfect for me, and so I knew I was making the right decision with my commitment to him.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Drew was planning to take me out for a romantic date night, but he couldn’t wait ANY LONGER, so he proposed in our bedroom.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A SYLVIE RING?
The only direction I shared with him is that I dreamt of a round ring because a circle is a reflection of eternity.
