TELL US YOUR STORY
Andy and I met in 10th grade when we had two classes together. We started dating in 11th grade and have been together ever since for the past 7 years. We attended colleges that were 2 hours away from each other but were able to see each other. After I finished college I moved to Columbus, OH+ to start law school, and the following year Andy graduated college and found a job in Ohio as well!
HOW THEY MET
Andy and I met in 10th grade English class.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE “THE ONE”?
I think Andy and I knew we were going to be together forever after we started college and we realized that we were both so willing to make our long-distance relationship work the best it possibly could by driving to see each other every weekend that we could.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Andy planned a trip for us to a resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a week. We had the most amazing day doing a tequila tasting, taking a romantic ride on a sailboat in the Bay of Cortez and in the Pacific and when we returned to our resort Andy proposed to me on the beach! It was the best day!
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A SYLVIE RING?
We decided on a Sylvie Jewelry Ring because we fell in love with the classic and unique style. When we found out Sylvie is originally from Belgium we were completely sold because my father was actually born in Belgium as well and my mom’s engagement ring is from there too!
WHERE DID YOU PURCHASE YOUR SYLVIE RING?
We bought our ring at Alexanders Jewelers in Columbus, OH.
WHICH SYLVIE RING DID YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?
We chose the Tamryn three stone oval engagement ring – S1964S. We both loved how timeless and elegant the setting was and the ring is simple but also still unique!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR RING?
I love how timeless the ring feels and also the hidden halo underneath is so beautiful. We hope to someday be able to hand down this ring as a family heirloom!
