HOW THEY MET
I met Paul at work! I would of never thought, but it was so organic and meant to be! We were randomly paired up for a work project and realized we had so much in common.

HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS THE ONE?
The moment I knew we would be together forever is after a long day at work he had my favorite meal (chicken parmesan) waiting for me with a glass of pinot grigio of course! It was so sweet! Also, he asked me to be his girlfriend on the anniversary of my grandfather’s passing without knowing. I felt at ease and like it was a sign from above. My grandma and him set a beautiful example of a love story with 54 years of marriage, and were head over heels. I always wanted that, and when I met Paul I knew he was it!

HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Paul took me to a beautiful estate and gardens (Stan Hywett) in Ohio. I always gush over gardens and he found one I’ve never been to and surprised me. About an hour in, he got down on one knee on this beautiful aisle of birch trees and surprised me! We immediately called family and celebrated with friends and family once we got home. It was such a special moment I will always remember!
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A SYLVIE RING?
One of the premier jeweler’s in Erie sells Sylvie rings, and I loved every design! When I was prematurely looking at rings I showed him an image of Sylvie’s with a hand that had multiple rings on it and said “I don’t care which one you get, but if it were any of these I would be over the moon!” Every Sylvie ring is crafted beautifully!

We chose the S1086-PS – Claudia – Double Halo Engagement Ring in platinum with a 1.25 carat pear shaped center.
I graduated college in may 2019 and my sister was in town from Philadelphia to celebrate. Paul took my sister and mom to help him pick out a ring. he said after seeing this Sylvie setting and the diamond they all looked at each other and knew it was it. It is so special knowing Paul, my sister, and mom had that moment together!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR SYLVIE RING?
I love how unique my ring is! I have not seen one like it! It is also very sparkly!
AS A YES GIRL, WHAT DO YOU SAY “YES” TO IN LIFE?
I always tell Paul, “I’m a yes girl!” I say yes to everything that promotes love, light, and happiness! Life is about adventures and enjoying every moment!
AS THE GROOM, WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT ERIN?
First time I met Madeline, her drive was just out of this world. She is very eager to learn and loves life. Madeline and I are pursuing our master’s together, and she says yes to any challenge that comes her way. After our first date, I realized how strong and compatible we were. I’m so happy she said yes to forever.
