Congratulations to our Sylvie bride, Margaret P.!
How they met
How Margaret became a Sylvie bride! TJ and I started dating about a year ago. I knew he was the one right away… there was something special about him. We both work in athletics at UW Madison and will be getting married July 6, 2019. We met through work. I was leaving for grad school and he was just starting out full time with the football program. Two years later, I was hired full time as an athletic trainer with football and we started talking/interacting with each other everyday and it was an instant connection.
How she knew he was the one?
The first night we spent time together outside of work, we kissed and it was spectacular. We both knew that night something amazing was going to come out of this. My mom always told me she knew my dad was the one the first time they kissed and I knew too after kissing TJ!
How did he propose?
After dinner at one of the first restaurants we went to when we started dating. We took a walk around the capitol building which is one of our favorite places in Madison.
How did you choose the ring?
I have been drawn to vintage looking rings and one of the best jewelers in Madison happened to have a large Sylvie collection so it was meant to be. We chose S1302 and custom designed it with an oval stone and a rose gold band.
Where did you purchase the ring?
Chalmers JEWELERS in Madison, WI
What do you love most about your Sylvie ring?
It’s unique and no one else has anything like my ring. It’s a perfect representation of me and our love.
As a Sylvie bride, what do you say YES to in life?
Saying yes to a lifetime of love, loyalty, commitment, happiness, adventure, determination, fun, joy, and the unknown. I will get to experience all those things with my best friend and my partner for life.
