HOW THEY MET
We (skeptically) met online. I think we were both just hoping for the best and were pleasantly surprised how quickly we hit it off!
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
Thinking back to our courtship phase, it wasn’t just one moment that made me realize I wanted to spend my life with Caleb. It was a lot of little moments collectively during the first few months of us dating that I was able to really get to know him and appreciate him. He loved and embraced me for all that I am and I loved and embraced him for all that he is.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Caleb proposed on a romantic weekend getaway in Fredericksburg, TX. Like any sane woman would do, I flat out asked him if he was going to propose over the weekend to make sure I didn’t need to get my nails done. Like any respectable man would do, he lied and told me he for sure wasn’t going to propose, as to not ruin the surprise. On our last night we had a romantic dinner and it ended with a special dessert, our waitress brought out a piece of cheesecake where I found my dazzling ring glimmering on top! I turned to Caleb and he asked me to marry him with tears in his eyes and the biggest smile on his face. I immediately went in to a full on ‘ugly cry’ and said “yes!”

In his words: I had been shopping around for rings and my mother suggested I look on Sylvie’s website. The moment I saw the Alexandra ring, I realized the only shortcoming it had was it not being on her small hands! That is something I moved to remedy as fast as possible!.

I love the timeless elegance of my ring and how sparkly it is! Everything I dreamed my engagement ring would be came to life!
AS A YES GIRL, WHAT DO YOU SAY “YES” TO IN LIFE?
Choosing to say “yes” to love and happiness for me includes choosing to embrace all that life has to offer. The good times remind us how blessed we are and the difficult times teach us perseverance. Every moment is an opportunity to say “yes” to living and loving fully. It’s the moments and memories with the ones we love most that make life so special.
AS THE GROOM, WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR YES GIRL?
Maxine was brought into this world to brighten it for anyone who crosses her path. Any accomplishment I have made in my life prior felt incomplete now knowing the amazing woman I get to spend the rest of them with. There isn’t a stone, material, or anything else that could encapsulate the warmth this woman has brought into my life, but I am grateful I got an opportunity to articulate a fraction of that in a reminder that she wears on her beautiful hands daily. I love you, Maxine.
