STORY
For all who do not know Ryan and I, we are police officers. When attending a training for work we were seated next to each other and spent two weeks together. Less than a year later we started dating. For the next four years Ryan and I dated until November 23, 2018, when Ryan popped the question while setting up the Christmas tree. Of course, he received permission first from my dog Milo (and of course my dad!).
HOW THEY MET?
Ryan & I met at a work training.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
We were at a mutual friend’s party. That was the first time he introduced himself as my boyfriend. I knew. He was the one.
HOW DID THEY PROPOSE?
We were decorating the house for Christmas. While we were putting up the tree Ryan proposed!
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A SYLVIE RING?
I have always had a love for east west oval rings. Ryan and I are very nontraditional actually shopped for an engagement ring together – and once I saw that Sylvie had to oval and get it rings, I fell in love!

I say yes to many things. I try to volunteer for everything- but – cops for kids with cancer and special Olympics Rhode island – are my favorite organizations to always say yes too. Also, my pup Milo – never say no to those puppy eyes!
