Jacob and I have worked for the same company for years. However, we never really interacted with each other until this past year. We began to have some meetings together, and I never really noticed him, noticing me. Eventually, he went out on a limb and asked me to dinner. I was so nervous to go out with him, but I said yes anyway. Little did I know this would lead to much bigger “yes” in the future.
HOW THEY MET?

HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
My favorite courtship story goes back to our first date when he took me to his grandfather’s car wash. Just listening to him talk to me about why he brought me there and what that place meant to him only drew me closer to him. You know how people talk about that “spark” or fireworks”? When I kissed him at that moment, I swear I felt like fireworks were going off inside my chest. There was no turning back now. This was it. I had found my penguin, my best friend, my fairy tale, and my soulmate.
HOW DID THEY PROPOSE?
On my birthday, which was almost a month after we are starting dating, Jacob gave me a book. This book had a sealed letter in it for each month of an entire year. However, the last month was torn out. I’m only allowed to open the letters on the 2nd of every month. We were nearing month seven, and I was dying to know what was in the last letter! Jacobs birthday is September 2nd, and he wanted to do a photo shoot with one of our favorite photographers, Lazzat Olarti. Little did I know this was a setup. Towards the end of our shoot at the Palafox pier, she decided we need to take a couple of photos at Skópelos with their twinkle lights. She had me turn my back to him to pose for an “epic” shot. When I did, he reached out around me and handed me the last letter from the book! I read his words, and when I turned around, he was down on one knee ready proposing. I was completely surprised. This was the most amazing night of my life.

When I told Barry that I was looking to propose, I went in and spent nearly five hours going through every detail of the ring to ensure that I walked out with something absolutely perfect.

It’s difficult to say what I love most about my Sylvie ring. There is so much about it to love. The attention to detail is outstanding, with an absolutely impeccable design. I love the tiny details that only I can see. However, my most favorite part about my Sylvie ring is that this is the ring my fiancé` chose for me to wear for the rest of our lives.

It’s hard to limit what I love most about my bride to be. From our first date, I knew she was the one I wanted to spend mine forever with. She is selfless, loving, caring, funny, smart, driven, and absolutely beautiful. She’s a wonderful mother, my best friend, my better half, my partner in crime, and everything I could only dream of. She always puts everyone before herself and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of and feels appreciated and loved. I have never met someone like her, and she has made everything about my life so much better.
