Say Hello and Congratulations to our Sylvie Bride, Sarah W. & her fiance, Justin W.
How they met?
I met my husband through my previous relationship! Kind of crazy – I know! We were both dating other people at the time, but he was friends with my boyfriend in high school. We eventually reconnected years later! He went off to boot camp 2 days after we reconnected so by learning more about him, we wrote letters back and forth for 4 months! We saw each other for the first time at my high school graduation. He was able to complete his training early to make it just in time to see me walk across the stage! There was definitely something different about him. That was one of the most special times of my life.
How did you know they were the one?
I can’t pinpoint a specific time when I knew I would marry Justin. It was over the course of time that I knew. Watching him grow and learn and become a man is when I knew he was the person for me! We started dating when I was 18 so I got to see him become a man over the course of 6 years!
How did they propose?
We were on the beach in Charleston! It is “our spot” since we lived there for 2 years. It was very special and even had both of our families come down and meet us there for dinner! It was such a surprise!
Why did you choose a Sylvie Ring?
I tried on rings to hint to him that I was ready to be engaged! (ha-ha) I told him I wanted to go look and he agreed. I had an idea for what I wanted in my head but didn’t look around before going shopping. We went into Diamonds Direct in Charleston, SC and I think it was the first ring I tried on! I tried on many after that and I kept going back to it. Sylvie’s rings were exactly what I wanted and I just happened to come across them – I’m so glad I did!
Which Sylvie ring did you choose?
I chose the Jeannette SY471 solitaire engagement ring and the BSY968 marquise milgrain diamond wedding ring. I fell in love with the engagement ring because of the details it has. The prongs were so stunning to me! The details on the sides definitely set it apart from any other ring I saw. It was literally perfect. I chose a mix match wedding band which I absolutely love! I tried on the matching band and it honestly didn’t make the statement I was hoping for. The marquis milgrain band gives it something extra to compliment my diamond. My set is so beautiful. I adore my rings!
Where did you purchase the ring?
B and D family jewelers in Spartanburg, south Carolina. The ring I that I fell in love with I first saw in mount pleasant, south Carolina was at diamonds direct. Years later, my husband searched and met a lady named Betty at B and D family jewelers. She did not have rights to this line of jewelry so she had to purchase a package so that my husband could by my diamond ring! Since then, she has told us that Sylvie is one of her bestselling lines and she is so glad she bought into them for us!
What do you love most about your Sylvie ring?
I love my rings because through Sylvie, I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I had a vision in my head (thanks Pinterest) that gave me an idea, but Sylvie made my visions come to life! I love the style that Sylvie offers. So many beautiful rings to choose from. Every time I look at them, I am like a kid in a candy store. They are all absolutely beautiful!
As a Sylvie Bride, you say yes to love and to many other things! What are they?
I have said yes to an adventure of a lifetime! One of our first adventures as husband and wife is not only buying our first house together but completely renovating it top to bottom! It has been our biggest adventure yet by far and I know there will be many more. But when I said yes to him on our wedding day, I said yes to every adventure life takes us!
As the groom, what do you love about your Yes girl?
“What’s not to love about my beautiful bride. She has a heart of gold and a smile that would make anyone’s day better.”
