HOW THEY MET?
We met when we were in college at the University of Connecticut.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
After 7 years we’ve certainly grown and learned a lot about each other. After college, Marc lived in Brooklyn while I was in Connecticut. We both were at different places in our early twenties figuring out our new careers. It was hard on our relationship, but after a few months we grew stronger from it. Once Marc decided to move back to Connecticut to be close to me, that’s truly when I knew this was it!
HOW DID THEY PROPOSE?
Marc & I love Boston – he’s a big Red Sox fan! For his birthday weekend, I thought it would be perfect for us to spend time in the city and go to a Sox game. Little did i know, he had other plans in mind. On Saturday, April 27th, 2019 we walked along newbury street, did some shopping and sat outside for mimosas and breakfast. From there, he took me to the public garden where the tulips were blossoming everywhere. We had our cavalier King Charles spaniel, Charlotte with us too. I thought nothing of it when he said “let me take a picture of you and Charlotte!” I bent down to scoop her up in my arms and the next thing I knew, he was down on one knee asking me to be his wife! That moment is one I’ll never forget; Marc’s smile was glowing and the shock and whirlwind of it all had me on cloud nine. It honestly was so incredible! From there, we headed back to our hotel in Seaport where another surprise was waiting – all of our best friends in our hotel with champagne to celebrate our engagement! Marc did GOOD! 🙂

YES TO COOKING, STAYING IN, WE LOVE DOGS, WINE, THE BEACH and Portugal.
