Entrepreneur, Allan Perry moved to Charlotte for the chance to open his own jewelry store, along with two of his brothers. This was the first Perry’s Jewelry Store which started the adventure for the brothers. Allan’s brother Ernie, is still the current owner and operator of the Charlotte, NC location. After a successful decade of partnership, Alan Perry began looking for the next location. He moved closer to the ocean, in order to open his own “Perry’s Emporium”. The Independence Mall in Wilmington, NC became the new branch in 1991. Since then, this modest store has expanded to become one of the largest jewelry stores in North Carolina. It has also become a favorite place for couples to find the perfect wedding jewelry.
