Ream Jewelers

Ream Jewelers is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania, icon. Robert S. Ream, the store’s founder, first opened its doors in 1935 at a location on West King Street. In 1960 our family took over the business and eventually relocated to its’ current Queen Street location in 1972. It was in 1985 that Alan and Rochelle Friedland acquired the family business. While other local jewelers moved out of the historic downtown area, Ream Jewelers remained true to its Lancaster heritage. “We’ve always been a city company and we’ll remain here,” Alan said. “I think our loyalty to the city and the city’s loyalty to us is paying off ” revitalization is everywhere.”
