HOW THEY MET
Chris and I met at the peak of the pandemic through his cousin, she and I volunteered together. In 2018, she had tried to arrange a date for Chris and me — but the timing wasn’t right for us to meet. Two years later, when Chris and I were both single, page recommended that we go out. Through quarantine and all the changes 2020 brought, we found not only each other but the beginning of a new life together for both of us.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
I knew Chris was my person from the very beginning. finding each other in the middle of a pandemic was an experience neither one of us had ever expected. in the middle of quarantine, we exchanged endless texts, calls, and facetime. we talked constantly and I knew within days of our correspondence that we were cut from the same cloth. I never wanted to be without him and his calming, steady presence.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Chris proposed to me in a field of tulips on the first day of spring, in the town where I went to college. So sentimental and so perfect for the beginning of our life together!
